To work as an important part of an active technical team providing quality service to the Firm's clients operating in a variety of industries. 

We anticipate that you will be Business/Commerce Degree Qualified with 18 months to 3 years experience in Public Practice and studying to be a member of CA/CPA. You will have high level and effective communication skills and be enthusiastic about meeting with and interacting with clients.

You will have a sound understanding of tax and commercial law and a demonstrated ability to work independently. You should have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and professional General Ledger applications and you should also be able to work comfortably in the range of MYOB and Quickbooks products.

Responsibilities to Clients:

 You will be responsible for matters relating to Client files in the following ways:
-    Collating and maintaining effective correspondence and file notes.
-    Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines.
-    Self monitoring workflow and preparing weekly workflow reports.     
-    Contributing suggestions for improvement to client financial position and reporting processes for approval by Manager.
-    Assisting in preparation of client financial statements.
-    Assisting in preparation of management accounting reports and information.
-    Willingness to establish and maintain positive relationships with existing clients and contacts.

Responsibilities to Professional Development:   

In addition to having an active focus on your own professional development, we expect an ability and willingness to:
-    Present relevant information to colleagues during Firm internal training sessions.
-    Participate in the induction training of new team members.

Responsibilities to Practice Development:  

You will have a willingness to:
-    Identify and advise senior colleagues of follow-on opportunities or new business opportunities.
-    Contribute to the preparation of proposals by developing and providing relevant information.
-    Maintain an industry awareness relevant to the Firm's clients. 
-    Participate in industry and business activities external to the Firm, if required.
